The King Hussein Foundation/ Institute For Family Health is looking to recruit a E-Learning Course Curation Coordinator - Fixed Term Project:
Project Overview:
The Community Health and Nutrition Project aims to improve the nutritional status of pregnant and lactating women and children under the age of two by achieving measurable improvements in six maternal, infant, and young child nutrition (MIYCN) and postpartum family planning (PPFP) behaviors.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist health care providers to develop and implement personal realistic training plans to ensure completion of the e-learning course within a maximum of 2 months period.
- Develop mitigation plans to ensure that health care providers are completing the e-course within the assigned timeline.
- Provide biweekly reports to CHN on the health care providers’ training progress.
- Monitor the health care providers progress throughout the E – learning course – individual monitoring for each participant- and assist them to overcome any challenges they might face.
- Provide technical IYCF support related to assignments and queries for health care providers throughout the E – learning course.
- Conduct weekly meetings with Health care providers to assess their progress throughout the E – learning course and walk them through specific modules.
- Conduct field visit to health facilities to assess health care providers progress throughout the E- learning course and walk them through specific modules.
- Ensure all candidates who will attend classroom training completed the minimum required modules from E- learning course on time.
- Follow up with health care providers to complete all modules in the E-course and get the completion certificate.
- Coordinate with E - learning platform administration to keep all participants record.
- Support (as a trainer) the classroom building skills trainings for Health care providers who completed the E – learning course.
- Support in the development and revision process of the training material, this includes-but not limited to- revision of translation, preparation of PowerPoints, review of references and resources and any other technical requirements.
- Support in any other tasks requested by project manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in IYCF or child nutrition.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to conduct trainings – TOT certificate is preferable.
- Good awareness of computer skills ( Ms Office).
- IT related experience is a plus.
Language Requirements:
- Excellent English & Arabic communication skills (both oral and written).
