We are looking for a DFM (Division Finance Manager) to join our team.
Position Summary
Act as a key Finance Business Partner to the supply chain unit and provide financial support to the fleet, warehousing, logistics, and clearance units, drive business results, and demonstrate financial capability in the supply chain environment.
Job Description
- Establish standard operating procedures for fleet, logistics, clearance, and warehousing activities and ensure compliance in all locations.
- Enforce and implement the supply chain strategy to ensure that business targets are delivered, and support is in place to develop each location to deliver the appropriate Business Unit strategic objectives.
- Maintain proper levels of inventory at all depots, ensuring production needs are met and slow-moving inventory is monitored and utilized as efficiently as possible.
- Develop and manage efficient, effective, accurate, and timely financial reporting for all fleet, logistics, warehousing, and clearance units.
- Plan Capex budget and actual spend.
- Plan SC annual budget in coordination with the corporate finance team.
- Report and analyze saving versus budget reports for warehousing, fleet, logistics, and clearance activities.
- Support Supply chain function in the analysis of financial information for warehousing, fleet, logistics, and clearance activities.
- Interpret and analyze the performance for the monthly closing reports to SC Manager and CFO.
- Ensure that all procedures and controls are in place plus work on new procedures when needed.
- Prepare the Monthly financial supply chain KPIs.
- Promote compliance with and the improvement of policies and procedures across all supply chain operations within the Business Unit, including third parties.
- Lead the month-end close and KPI reporting for consolidated Supply Chain results with support from the corporate finance unit
Control 3rd party spending and drive saving and efficiency initiatives.
- Supports the implementation of any warehousing or fleet system/ERP.
- Prepare Ad hoc requests for the Finance Director, Supply Chain team, and internal auditor or external auditor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; 8 -10 years of work experience in a Finance managerial role preferably in an FMCG company
- Master's degree or professional certificate is a plus
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SAP is a plus
- Accurate, flexible thinking, time management skills, high analytical skills, fluent English in word and writing
- Team player, hands-on, proactive, excellent communication skills, independent/self-starter, eager to learn and further develop, acts with a sense of urgency
- Hands-on, comfortable with tactical execution, and possess a process improvement mindset
