SBAG is looking to hire (Planning Engineer) with 5+ years of experience ,in Amman, Jordan Office:
Job Description:
.Identification and development of the most appropriate and economically viable methods for the projects.
. Participate in all phases of development, and be on site during construction to supervise them and procedures.
Estimate the project schedule and ensure that deadlines are met.
. Work closely with site managers and other engineers to ensure that the project is running on schedule and that physical supplies are adequate.
. Determine the most appropriate engineering methods, sequence of activities for each of them, and project phases.
. Ensure plans meet project specifications.
. Supervising the project in all its stages and providing solutions to problems.
. Collaborate with project and site managers.
∙ Ensure that procedures are carried out safely.
∙ Understand project specifications and develop schedules and budgets that meet them.
∙ Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure the best prices.
∙ Monitor current operations, analyze staff performance and recommend optimal solutions to address deficiencies accordingly.
∙ Monitor and track project progress, and write reports.
∙ Attend and schedule meetings as required.
∙ Understand and meet all contract requirements.
∙ Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budgets.
∙ Percentage completeness and full cost of budgeted versus actual reports
∙ Monitor the cash flow of projects in coordination with the financial department
. Prepare change orders and prepare claims
. Follow up on bids, pricing and submitting them according to the policy.
