IT Technical Support job description:
We are looking to hire an ambitious IT expert for our open IT Technical Support position.
Your job will be to provide technical support to maintain the organization’s computer systems, both hardware and software and other peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance so that end users can maintain a high level of productivity.
IT Technical Support duties and responsibilities:
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
Research, diagnose, Resolve problems and troubleshoots technical and process issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company
Documentation of the hardware and software maintenance and updates.
IT Technical Support Qualifications/Skills:
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Software maintenance and testing capability.
In depth knowledge of:
v Windows Server 2016 and 2019. (Active Directory, failover cluster,.etc.)
v Microsoft Office 365.
v Veeam Backup Solution.
v Firewall and Antivirus.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
The ability to communicate technical information to non-technical employees.
Previous working experience in IT support for (2) years at least.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or information systems, or related field
