Senior Operations Executive
Job Description
- Analyze and study all capacity variables across stations in order to comprehend total operational capacity
- Perform and deploy yearly Capacity analysis based on the forecasted production
- Perform and deploy yearly Vacation and resources planning based on the forecasted production
- Assess existing capacity plans and make appropriate adjustments in the event of changes and unforeseen circumstances
- Work side by side with the operations/stations management in order to extend/reduce existing capacity based on the planned production.
- Coordinating with the operations managers across the network to build a plan to optimise cost while meeting capacity needs
- Design and schedule weekly productivity/ production communication and ensure effective implementation of the schedule.
- Monitor Inbound distribution against what the plan and report any abnormal behavior to be solved immediately.
- Analyzing data on actual performance against the plan, put an immediate action plan to solve any arising issue with the Performance or current capacity.
- Keep tracking of business at each serving office and alert the stakeholders to take action in case of any backlog.
- Make sure that all serving offices are producing as expected on weekends without extra cost over the planned.
- Communicate the flow of production against customer projection and report any variance and prepare an action plan “Seize, reduce, increase or shift in production”
- Inform the commercial team in regards of any available capacity on the ground throughout the year
- Align the commercial team in case of any production drop against capacity to initiate preferred rates
- Initiate production shifting between served cities through commercial team in case of any capacity imbalance between cities
- Monitor and control production distribution through aramex couriers, Outsourced and crowdsourced models, setting the boundaries of their shares based on the capacity needs
- Ensure cost optimization by following productivity compliance and utilize all resources on ground
- Aligning with Financial department and station management on the yearly budget needed to maintain the capacity parameters
- Propose financial incentive models to tackle any rises in the production.
- Maintain ABC cost per shipment at stable and accepted range.
Job Requirements
- Strong communication and Presentation skills.
- Strong in data analysis with the ability to use multi-business intelligence software.
- A hardworking, high-energy individual with a significant amount of stamina.
- An analytic, strategic and tactical thinker, who can develop strategies, programs and processes that support the short-and long-term business needs.
- Experience in a diverse, matrixed, multi-cultural environment.
- Monitoring, evaluation and strong follow up
- Bachelors in Industrial engineer, Logistics, and supply chain related Field.
- 1-2 years of experience in related field.
