Sr. Business Analyst
Job Purpose:
To oversee the online portfolio and ensure that the value of each asset is maximised based on optimal price and market share strategy while analysing numerical data regarding the central marketing and market trends to support forecasting, new product launch groups and assist in marketing material creation.
Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Recommends improvements to departmental policy and directs the implementation of procedures and
- Controls covering all areas of Commercial activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost- effective service to customers
- Day- to-day operations
- Supervises the day-to-day operations of Commercial section to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Keeps track of competitive business development intelligence in order to provide successful implementation of business development projects.
- Engages in ad-hoc project-based initiatives including information/database management and risks analysis/mitigation to contribute in resource planning, commercial launches and regional synergies.
- Creates monthly report packages in order to show Net Sales by Customer by Product and optimise the selling and distribution process.
- Collaborates with the sales marketing teams in order to perform the budgeting process and prepare the data needed for quarterly and annual business reviews.
- Links CRM data with the sales tracking information in order to get a holistic view of the commercial aspect of the products.
- Conducts activities around day-to-day interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners for
- Confidential business screening, landscape reviewing and project analysis to support the deal process.
- Functions as regional liaison to leverage product opportunity across geographies or business units within Hikma.
- Evaluates new product/company ideas, new technology platforms in order to conduct market research for potential targets, and research for project leads.
- Provides solutions in the area of information management and cross-regional database management in order to maintain data consistency across different information repository.
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners to discover and explore new business opportunities.
- Conducts market research and adjusts the marketing strategy in order to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Continuous Improvement
- Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Reporting Prepares departmental reports of Commercial timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or life sciences.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- 3-5 years relevant experience in Commercial including at least 1 years in Marketing or Business Development
