Head of Electricity Unit
Job Summary:
Supervision and follow-up of routine, preventive and emergency electrical maintenance of machinery and equipment used in the activities and operations of various production lines, ensuring the effectiveness of these machines and equipment and contributing to their maintenance, in addition to following up on the evaluation and analysis of electrical failures and making the necessary recommendations on these failures and ways to address them effectively and efficiently to ensure the achievement of the production plans and specific objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow-up the evaluation and analysis of electrical failures in different production lines, checking statistics issued by electricity technicians, in addition to making the necessary recommendations on these failures and ways to address them effectively and efficiently.
- Organizing the ordering and receiving of spare parts and tools for the implementation of various maintenance activities, in order to ensure that maintenance operations occur in a timely manner and in accordance with the plans and schedules set with the desired efficiency and quality.
- Supervising post-maintenance activities from sorting pieces and others, and ensuring that any residues are disposed of at installation/maintenance sites after the completion of related activities, in line with the relevant procedures and policies.
- Supervising the storage of tools and equipment for electrical maintenance work, in order to ensure that they are stored in designated areas and maintained and enhance their continuity.
- Contribute to the identification of plans and methodology to train the company's employees on how to use and how to deal with electrical equipment lines and plates, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge that will keep them safe and protect them from electrical hazards.
- Ensure that representatives of external companies carry out electrical maintenance work in accordance with the approved standards and procedures, monitor their performance and the results of their work and make recommendations accordingly.
- Coordinating and organizing rest times and holidays for technicians to ensure that maintenance operations are carried out in accordance with the plans and schedules set and with the required efficiency.
- See all maintenance records and maintenance reports prepared by electricity technicians, and study the relevant recommendations before submitting them to the head of the department.
- hold regular meetings with administrative staff to verify their clear priorities and ensure that the work proceeds in an orderly and smooth manner.
- Prepare periodic reports on the division's activities and career achievements and submit them to the direct administrator.
- Ensure compliance with and compliance with business policies and procedures, and apply and comply with all instructions, circulars and regulatory and operational decisions.
- Assess the performance of administratively affiliated employees in accordance with the approved performance evaluation standards, company policies and procedures and within the specified times, with the necessary recommendations based on the results of the evaluation.
- Recommending the training needs of administrative staff and assessing the results, effectiveness and impact of training courses on staff performance.
- Follow-up administrative matters relating to administrative staff such as: holidays, departures, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
- (5-7)Years of experience in a related field, including at least 2 years of experience in an administrative position.
